Privacy policy

Effective date: 28 August 2026

1. About this policy

Keja Health Limited (NZBN 9429051360221), "Keja Health", "we", "us", operates kejahealth.com and provides online clinical education for doctors in Aotearoa New Zealand. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions or requests can go to hello@kejahealth.com .

2. The personal information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, account login details, the details you enter at sign-up or checkout, your course and live-session preferences, and anything you tell us in messages or during live sessions.
  • Payment information: card and billing details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • Information collected automatically: your device and browser type, IP address, and how you use our website and courses, including through cookies and analytics and advertising tags (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have opted in to receive marketing from us.
  • Information from others: limited information from our analytics and advertising partners about how you found us and interact with our ads. Where we collect personal information indirectly, we take reasonable steps to make you aware of it, consistent with Information Privacy Principle 3A.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and administer your courses and live sessions, manage your account, process payments, and issue invoices and certificates.
  • To send you service messages about your purchase, access and account.
  • To send you marketing only where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand and improve our website, courses and services.
  • To run and measure advertising, including remarketing, through, but not limited to, Google and Meta.
  • To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our business, who act on our instructions and only for the purposes above:

  • LearnWorlds, our course platform, which hosts the courses and stores account and learning data.
  • Mailchimp, which sends our marketing email.
  • Stripe, which processes payments.
  • Google and Meta, which provide analytics and advertising.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

5. Storage and disclosure outside New Zealand

Our service providers are based overseas, including in the European Union and the United States, so your personal information may be stored and processed outside New Zealand. Where we disclose information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by comparable safeguards, consistent with the Privacy Act.

6. Marketing and your choices

We only send marketing email to people who have opted in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Buying a course or taking the free taster does not by itself sign you up to marketing. Our marketing complies with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. Our Cookie Policy explains these and how to manage them.

8. Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires, for example tax and financial records.

10. Accessing and correcting your information

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. Contact us at hello@kejahealth.com and we will respond as required by the Privacy Act.

11. Privacy breaches

If a privacy breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and affected individuals, as required by the Privacy Act 2020.

12. Children

Our services are intended for qualified doctors and are not directed at children.

13. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
