Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 28 August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of kejahealth.com and to any course or live sessions you buy from Keja Health Limited (NZBN 9429051360221), "Keja Health", "we", "us". By using the site or buying from us, you agree to these terms.

2. Our services

We provide online clinical education for doctors, including a free taster, a paid online course, and optional live sessions delivered by our Managing Director, Kevin Chen. Course content and features may change over time.

3. Your account

You need an account to access our courses. You agree to give accurate details, to keep your login secure, and you are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Access is for you alone and may not be shared.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in New Zealand dollars and are shown exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. GST is added at checkout and shown on your invoice. Payments are processed by Stripe. Access is granted once payment is received.

5. Access and use of content

When you buy a course, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to access its content for your own professional development. You may not share your login, copy, record, redistribute, resell or make commercial use of any content. All content is owned by Keja Health or its licensors and remains our property.

6. Live sessions

The live sessions are an optional add-on: four small-group sessions with Kevin Chen, of 60 to 90 minutes each, in a small group. Sessions run between 12pm and 8pm NZT and are arranged directly with Kevin after purchase, around participants' availability.

Live sessions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If they are not booked and used within that 12 months, they expire and are not refundable. Because sessions run in small groups, timing depends on grouping participants at a similar stage, and we may need to reschedule.

Live sessions are reflective and case-based. You must not share information that could identify a patient, and you agree to respect the confidentiality of other participants and anything shared in a session.

7. Certificates

A certificate of completion is issued when you complete the online course. It records completion of our course only. It is not a formal qualification and is not accredited by any college, authority or employer.

8. CPD, CME and funding

It is your responsibility to confirm with your college, employer or funder whether this course qualifies for CPD or CME, or whether it will be reimbursed or funded. We make no guarantee that any body will recognise or fund the course.

9. Refunds and cancellations

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Beyond those rights, and because access is granted immediately on purchase, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

In particular, we do not refund a purchase where a CPD, CME, reimbursement or funding request is later declined, including where you bought the course before obtaining that approval. Securing any funding or approval before you purchase is your responsibility.

If you believe a guarantee under the Consumer Guarantees Act has not been met, contact us and we will work with you to put it right.

10. Educational disclaimer

Our courses provide general educational information about the consultant role and how the New Zealand health system works. They are not clinical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and using them does not create any advisory or professional relationship between us.

You remain responsible for your own clinical decisions and for meeting your professional, regulatory and employment obligations, including those of the Medical Council of New Zealand. Our content is general, may not fit your particular circumstances, and should be checked against current guidance and your own judgement.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the site and courses available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The course platform is provided by LearnWorlds, and access may occasionally be affected by maintenance or matters outside our control.

12. Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act where they apply, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant course or sessions, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

13. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Third-party links and services

Our site and courses may link to or rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
